Château de Crémat - AOP Bellet
Wine of Nice
Some 2000 years ago, the Romans settled down in the current location of the Château de Crémat and dug some tunnels, those still used today to mature and preserve our wines!
The vineyard consists in 7 hectares spread over the hills of Crémat, Saint-Sauveur and Saquier. Because of its geographical location, it enjoys an exceptional microclimate allowing for a slow maturing of the grapes: all along the year, it is swept by winds coming down from the Alps and others coming up from the Baie des Anges. The elevation is also one of the characteristics of the vineyard because the plots are located between 100 and 350 meters.
All the wines produced at Château de Crémat exclusively come from organic grapes, which lets them reach optimum quality and preserves the environment.
